It was such a beautiful evening in May when I had the pleasure of photographing this couple in the idyllic setting of Bicentennial Park. It had been clear to me from the first time I met with them that Alison and Michael would have the kind of wedding that made their guests laugh as much as they would cry. The bride had a smile that lit up the gardens, and the groom could not have been prouder of showing off his loving family, who had travelled all the way from America to share their special day.

I especially loved the idea of using bubbles instead of confetti to shower the bride and groom with well wishes, and we got to have a bit of fun with it after the ceremony too. It was simply one of those timeless weddings that made you believe in love all over again!
